Aestus performed our GeoTrax SurveyTM to determine potential environmental liabilities at this operating marina. The survey results indicated that only one small site area was impacted. Subsequent characterization demonstrated that these soils were impacted by used oil and debris.
Our client was pleased that Aestus’ GeoTrax SurveyTM could be used to cost effectively demonstrate that the majority of their site was not environmentally impacted. The survey results were used to focus subsequent characterization and remediation efforts on the one small impacted area. The surveys were performed in close proximity to ongoing boat repair operations (see photo), without disrupting our client’s business. |
