Aestus performed our GeoTrax SurveyTM at a refinery site to locate the extent of fugitive oil from known pipeline leaks. We confirmed the extent of the fugitive gasoline and jet fuel and we also discovered a previously unknown release of fugitive oil from a pipeline junction box.
Our client was pleased that Aestus was able to confirm these problem areas without interrupting ongoing refinery operations. In addition, health and safety concerns were minimized through our non-invasive GeoTrax SurveyTM method. Our client’s alternative was using more expensive, invasive, and time-consuming conventional drilling techniques. |
