The State of Oklahoma asked Aestus personnel
to survey the boundaries between two retail gas station sites. The retail
site in the photo above had already undergone cleanup and was declared clean.
However, an upgradient monitoring well encountered LNAPLs during routine
monitoring.
Aestus conducted a survey orthogonal to groundwater flow to identify the
presence or absence of LNAPLs. Two significant anomalies were identified
and the State of Oklahoma subsequently drilled and confirmed the
presence of LNAPL in these pathways.
